Persona 5 is having a resurgence in 2020, with Persona 5 Royal launching on PS4 and the Nintendo Switch getting Persona 5 Scramble (which you could argue is as essential as a sequel) this month in Japan.
But what about bringing the original to the Nintendo Switch? Something fans have been asking for. It’s curious that Atlus is releasing a follow-up to Persona 5 on a platform where players still can’t play its preceding story, with no firm indication that it’s on the cards. Speaking to IGN, Atlus Communications Manager Ari Advincula didn’t have any new announcements to share, but did ensure fans that Atlus is listening.
“You want what you want,” Advincula explained, “and if you don’t let us know it we’re never going to be able to make it.”
