This Acclaimed RPG Is Free On iPhone And iPad For A Limited Time
With Apple Arcade delivering a steady stream of high-quality mobile games, there’s really never been a better time to game on iOS devices. You should take a break from filling up your iPhone’s storage space with Apple Arcade games to download Bastion, as Supergiant Games’ 2011 debut is currently free for a limited time.
The original iOS version published by Warner Bros. was delisted last week. An updated version published by Supergiant just popped up on the App Store, and the studio responsible for the whimsical action-RPG is graciously giving it away free of charge until the end of the year.

We tried searching for Bastion in the App Store, but it seems the new listing isn’t appearing in to search results just yet. After downloading, you need to unlock the full game. Bastion boots directly to the beginning of the game rather than a menu screen. After playing for about ten seconds, the settings wheel will appear in the upper right-hand corner. Click on the wrench/hammer icon, and you’ll see a button that reads “Unlock $0.00.” Bastion is now in your iOS game library forever!
In Bastion, you play as the Kid, a young adventurer on a fantastical journey narrated by an old man named Rucks. Throughout the story, you fight your way through enemy-infested levels comprised of floating environments that continuously appear as you walk. The end goal is to collect the cores that made the city of Caelondia tick before the world-altering event known as the Calamity. Earning an impressive 8.5/10 in GameSpot’s Bastion review, the game became a runaway hit.
Supergiant Games went on to create three more compelling indies: Transistor, Pyre, and Hades, which is currently in early access.

Cyberpunk 2077 Has Twice As Much Keanu Reeves, At Actor’s Request
Cyberpunk 2077 got a big reception at E3 thanks to the surprise reveal of the character Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves. The character is actually showing up more than CD Projekt Red originally planned, though, thanks to Reeves himself.
WCCF Tech reports that at the Lucca Comics and Games festival, voice actor Luca Ward said that his recording time had been doubled thanks to Reeves pushing for Silverhand to have more time. The report, translated from an Italian interview, suggests that Reeves was enjoying playing the part and asked to have a bigger presence in the game.
We had previously heard a similar account from senior level designer Miles Tost about Reeves’ affinity for the character and world. Tost said because Reeves is known for cyberpunk-like stories such as The Matrix and Johnny Mnemonic, it was “a very natural match made in heaven.” He also said Reeves seemed “very passionate about the project and the role he’s playing.”
Reeves’ surprise stage appearance at Microsoft’s E3 conference made him one of the unexpected stars of E3. Cyberpunk 2077 is coming April 16, 2020. For more details check out our pre-order guide.
