The Battlefield V minimum PC specs that recently popped up on Origin are incorrect, according to EA community manager Dan Mitre. He wrote on Twitter that the specs listed on the website (which have since been removed) were only placeholders.

“Recently, incorrect minimum PC specs for Battlefield V were published as placeholders,” Mitre said. “We haven’t announced our minimum or recommended specs for Battlefield V yet. Stay tuned!”

A post on the Battlefield forums also alerted fans about the mistake. The message thanked fans for their patience and understanding over the mess-up. The listed requirements were pretty much the same as the ones for Battlefield 1, which seemed odd.

The Battlefield V reveal trailer showed some very nice-looking graphics. However, we don’t know what kind of machine the footage was captured on or if it was actual gameplay or meant to be taken as representative of what Battlefield V will offer in terms of visuals. Whatever the case, it is expected that Battlefield V will be a demanding game if you want to play on high settings.

In other Battlefield V news, the World War II shooter will be playable at EA’s E3 fan event, EA Play. Mitre also shared an image of how the event space is shaping up; you can see that picture above.

Take one look at the high-fantasy landscapes of Summerset and you might be fooled into thinking that all The Elder Scrolls Online’s newest expansion brings is simply “more of the same.” And it’s true that in many ways, Zenimax Online Studios has stuck to what has helped make TESO into one of the better MMORPGs out today. Yet underneath the beauty of the High Elven island lies a darker side, one TESO doesn’t shy away from. As a result, Summerset is both familiar and foreign; full of grace yet surprisingly sinister.

One of the aspects that The Elder Scrolls Online excels at is that even though its story is tied into the larger lot, new players can pick up the expansion and start from Summerset with no knowledge of the events leading up to this point. Improving on the stories that came before it,  Summerset picks up after the events of last year’s excellent Morrowind expansion. The young and charismatic Queen Ayrenn of the High Elves has opened up the island of Summerset to outsiders, and most locals tend to look on newcomers such as yourself as so much chopped liver. This is felt not just in quest dialogue, but simply listening to the High Elves while passing by, such as an Altmer who was berating an Orc for not knowing the exact, proper way to challenge him to a duel. And Eight forbid you’re an Argonian, as you’ll be seen as nothing more than just barely above an animal.

The concept of “world-building” is a relatively new way to describe a time-honored idea of creating a brand new reality, rich with detail and character, that can be explored from any angle. It’s a style of writing which gives the world itself as much character as the characters who inhabit that world, and when it works, it’s a truly glorious thing.

Hotel Artemis doesn’t not work, but it also doesn’t quite get the formula right. The film takes place in the near future, at a secret hospital for supercriminals, where they can clean their wounds in privacy, without fear of getting assassinated by the other patients. It’s basically the Continental Hotel from John Wick, but without a full-service bar, and run by Jodie Foster.

In the wake of recent controversies about what sort of game content should and should not be allowed on Steam, Valve has decided to “allow everything.” In a post today, Valve’s Erik Johnson explained that only game content that they decide is “illegal or straight up trolling” will be banned from the store once the new policy is enacted at an unannounced future date.

“Taking this approach allows us to focus less on trying to police what should be on Steam and more on building those tools to give people control over what kinds of content they see,” explained Johnson. “We already have some tools, but they’re too hidden and not nearly comprehensive enough. We are going to enable you to override our recommendation algorithms and hide games containing the topics you’re not interested in.”

Operation Para Bellum comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC very soon with some changes, as new social features head to Overwatch.

Though he’s written 50-ish issues of Batman so far (including annuals and spinoffs), Tom King has yet to deliver a dedicated Joker story. The most we’ve seen was “The War of Jokes and Riddles,” but even that story took place in the past and positioned Joker as one villain among many. As the series nears the long-awaited wedding of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, finally the Clown Prince of Crime is stepping out of the shadows and back into the spotlight. And unsurprisingly, he steals the show in issue #48.
