Crackdown 3 has reportedly been delayed further.

Jason Schreier of Kotaku reported that Crackdown 3 will be delayed until 2019, according to two sources “familiar with the game’s release plans.”

First announced at the 2014 Microsoft E3 press conference as simply Crackdown for the Xbox One, Crackdown 3 has suffered from a rocky development cycle.

Crackdown 3 was described as “the ultimate sandbox” at Gamescom 2015. Developer Sumo Digital promised transforming vehicles and a 100% destructible game world using Microsoft’s cloud.

You won’t have to wait until E3 2018 to see more of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Developer Treyarch is hosting a multiplayer-focused livestream for the game on June 7. The stream kicks off at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, and you’ll be able to watch on Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube.

The stream will provide players a “closer look” at the maps that E3 attendees will get to try out on the show floor. No further details were provided, but Treyarch said in another tweet that the Firebreak specialist character will have some presence at Activision’s booth in the Los Angeles Convention Center. It remains to be seen if this is a statue of Firebreak or that this is confirmation that the specialist will be playable in some capacity. Firebreak debuted in Black Ops III.

Black Ops 4 is likely to show up during Sony’s E3 2018 press conference on Monday, June 11, thanks to Sony’s partnership with Activision. Sony historically showcases new Call of Duty games on its stage.

In other Black Ops 4 news, the game does not have a traditional campaign–and Activision thinks that is not much a problem. Activision has also discussed Black Ops 4’s battle royale mode and why it will stand apart from Fortnite. Black Ops 4 launches on October 12 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

At first glance, Jupiter Jet may seem like just another superhero book in an industry that has far too much of that already. But with a premise that combines equal parts The Rocketeer and Robin Hood and throws in a healthy dose of steampunk sci-fi to boot, this series has little trouble standing out from the crowd in the end. The fact that it also happens to be very all-ages friendly is just one more point in its favor.

Jupiter Jet is, among other things, a strong showcase for how to world-build without losing sight of the narrative. The first issue introduces a well-realized, retro-futuristic world without beating readers over the head in an attempt to establish that world and its history. Writers Jason Inman and Ashley Victoria-Robinson are content to drop readers into the story and let the rest handle itself over time. The dynamic between teen heroine Jacky and her brother is charming, with their tenuous financial state giving the story plenty of weight and a clear sense of stakes. Jacky isn’t just a freedom fighter trying to save her city, she’s also an orphan doing her best to care for her family in a world that never quite seemed to escape the Great Depression.

New week, new Netflix. As summer gets closer and the temperature keeps rising, you might be looking for a reason to stay inside where the air conditioning is. Thankfully, Netflix is giving you plenty of reasons to avoid the sun with its arrivals for the week.

Most of the week’s new additions come in the form of Netflix originals. Among the titles arriving is the series finale of Sense8, as well as the second season of Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast, The Hollow, The Staircase, Treehouse Detectives, and Season 2 of Marcella.

Other new options include new seasons of The Night Shift and Wynonna Earp, plus a major Marvel Cinematic Universe premiere. If you somehow missed Thor: Ragnarok in theaters, it begins streaming on June 5. So make sure to get your fill of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), during their space adventures.

Destiny 2‘s Forsaken expansion will launch on September 4, developer Bungie announced today during a livestream event. The expansion, which follows the Warmind add-on in May, is a big one. As outlined in a mini-documentary that you can see in the embed above, Forsaken adds a lot to Destiny 2.

As rumoured, Forsaken takes players back to the Reef as part of a story that Bungie is keeping quiet about for now. What Bungie did say is that Forsaken’s story has a western revenge theme, and that it begins with a prison break with Cayde-6. More details on the story are coming at E3 next week.

Forsaken also makes a number of changes to weapons, starting with the fact that the Kinetic slot can now have shotguns. There is also a new mod system coming, along with an updated Masterwork system that lets you level up your guns over time. There is also a brand-new weapon coming to Destiny 2 in the form of a bow and arrow.

What’s more, Forsaken adds new Super abilities, one of which is called Fire Knives and it allows you to do exactly what that sounds like. Another is a giant hammer that you can slam down to turn into a fire tornado. Additionally, the Void Warlock can now teleport and then explode.

The new, much-hyped multiplayer mode coming in Destiny 2 Forsaken is called Gambit. It’s a competitive PvE mode where you fight against AI enemies. They drop motes that you then load into a chamber that sends a blocker over onto the other team’s area. At a certain point one players can actually invade the other side’s area and do damage that way.

The new raid in Forsaken is called Dreaming City. It has more bosses than any previous Destiny raid, and it has a massive roam area like Dreadnaught with puzzles and secrets to explore. More activities will be added to the raid over time.

Finally, Forsaken is adding Collections, which is a way to track all of the items you can acquire as you play. You can look at sets, see how to go and get it. You can just see how many weapons there are. Also coming to Destiny 2 are Triumphs, which track your achievements and accomplishments, as well as new Exotics.

Forsaken costs $40 by itself, while you can also get it with the new Annual Pass for $70. For more on Destiny 2: Forsaken, check out GameSpot’s recent stories below.

CBR reports the teasing image was sent out by Marvel and while light on details, sports the text “The Guardians of the Galaxy are no more… Who are the Asgardians of the Galaxy”.

Fortnite‘s 4.3 content update is now available, and it introduces a new item to Battle Royale called the Bouncer. That isn’t the only change Epic has implemented, however; the developer has also made an assortment of weapon and building adjustments in an effort to “address a few top concerns” among players and further balance the game.

In terms of weapon changes, the Minigun’s accuracy has been increased by 10%, while its damage against structures is now 30 (up from 25). Additionally, damage fall-off for Rifles, SMGs, Pistols, and LMGs against structures has been removed, and the structure explosion radius for C4s has been increased from 400 to 600.

Along with those changes, Epic has also made some adjustments to loot. The chance that materials will drop as floor loot has been reduced by 33%, and stack sizes of floor loot materials has likewise been decreased by 33%. The availability of explosive ammo has also been decreased by 50%, while light ammo stack sizes have been increased to 18 (up from 12).

According to Epic, these adjustments will be tracked and further fine-tuned. “We will be closely monitoring these changes when they are live to assess the impact and re-adjust as necessary,” Epic said. You can read the full list of adjustments in the patch notes on the Fortnite website.

The balance adjustments arrive alongside the aforementioned Bouncer, a new type of trap that appears in Battle Royale. The Bouncer be found in Treasure Chests, Supply Drops, Supply Llamas, or as floor loot. It can be placed on walls or the ground, and when stepped on, it sends players flying into the air.

While we haven’t heard much about the Gears of War movie in development at Universal, one familiar action star is trying to make it a reality — by badgering Universal about starring in it.

Talking with GameSpot, Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista admitted he considered playing Marcus Fenix in a Gears of War movie a “dream role.” Answering questions from Twitter fans, someone asked what for what role he really wanted, and he quickly turned to the Microsoft-exclusive shooter franchise.
