Release Date

The final public beta has ended for Monster Hunter World, but its full release on Xbox One and PS4 is imminent. Set to launch on January 26, Monster Hunter World marks the end of the franchise’s long hiatus from home consoles. The latest entry in the series is also coming to PC, but Capcom hasn’t set a firm date for that launch yet. According to the game’s producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, the delay is because “rather than have it taking up resources during the console development and not being able to have our full attention on it. We want to get console out the door, and then we’re going to take some extra time and try and get the PC version as good as possible.” The PC date is currently set for sometime this fall.

For PS4 and Xbox One users, Monster Hunter World will have an important day one patch that adds online multiplayer, event quests, chat, and other online features. In addition, the patch will fix some bugs and add series-favorite Poogies to the game. Additional space required for the patch will be approximately 815 MB.

Switch Version

Unfortunately, Capcom has confirmed that there are no plans for a Switch version of Monster Hunter World.

Celebrate Breaking Bad’s 10th Anniversary With This Mario-Like Recap Video

AMC’s acclaimed drama Breaking Bad is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. 10 years! To mark the occasion, AMC Espana put out a neat little video that recaps the events of the show in one minute–with Mario-style animation and voiceover.

Of course, it’s stuffed with spoilers, so steer clear if you haven’t seen the show and watch to see it with fresh eyes. Pretty much all the critically significant plot points are shown or referenced here, which is pretty impressive given the short runtime.

Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman on the show, tweeted about the clip and the anniversary. Additionally, Paul will be on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night TV show tonight where he will discuss “meth and the word bitch.”

Breaking Bad premiered in January 2008, ending its run after five seasons in 2013. A spinoff prequel, Better Call Saul, premiered in 2015 and is still going after three seasons.

WWE Releases Enzo Amore Amid Sexual Assault Allegations, Read His Statement

[UPDATE 2] Enzo Amore released a statement today in which he “fully and unequivocally” denies the allegations. You can read the full statement below.

[UPDATE] WWE and Enzo Amore have parted ways less than one day after he was suspended amid allegations of sexual assault. In a statement on the company’s website, it says, “WWE has come to terms on the release of Eric Arndt (Enzo Amore).”

The original story continues below.

As WWE was celebrating the 25th anniversary of Raw, there was a notable face missing from the show: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore. That’s because Amore has been suspended indefinitely from the company after allegations of sexual assault were made against him.

The situation was first brought to light on Twitter when a woman claimed she was raped by Amore–real name Eric Arndt–in October. According to the woman, two other people gave her cocaine, marijuana, and meth, leaving her impaired. She was then left alone with Amore, who allegedly assaulted her. As a result of the attack, the woman says she was admitted to a mental hospital.

Police in Phoenix, where the alleged assault took place, tell Pro Wrestling Sheet that they are investigating the matter. They also confirm being called to an area hospital in late October to look into the incident.

For their part, WWE released a statement on the situation. In it, the company says, “WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.” Amore’s match has also been removed from the official Royal Rumble card.

Black Lightning: “LaWanda: The Book of Hope” Review

Full SPOILERS follow for Black Lightning: “Lawanda: The Book of Hope.”

Black Lightning continues its forward momentum by exploring the tragic story of LaWanda White (Tracey Bonner) and her quest to save her daughter from The One Hundred. The series feels relevant, by echoing the harsh truth that some communities don’t feel like the police have their best interests in mind. In this episode, that mistrust is fully realized with the bitter reveal that Tobias Whale controls the local law enforcement.

The main struggle in Black Lightning, so far, is what do you do when the system lets you down? For Jefferson, that means putting his family at risk, which adds another layer of complexity to the already richly written story. It’s not just the risk of physical harm, but also the mental stressors of not being able to win back his ex-wife, Lynn (Christine Adams).

512 GB MicroSD Card Revealed, And It’s Perfect For Nintendo Switch

As computer storage gets progressively cheaper, the capacity of microSD cards continues to go up. As a result, what would seem absolutely unbelievable only a few years ago is now possible: a 512 GB microSD card was recently revealed, becoming the biggest microSD ever created.

It comes from manufacturer Integral Memory, whose card overtakes the previous record holder by a significant margin. SanDisk’s 400 GB card is now in second place, although, as The Verge points out, SanDisk still has the edge in speed: Integral Memory’s microSD comes in at 80 MB/s, while SanDisk’s is at 100 MB/s.

The new card also happens to be classified as the SDXC UHS-I U1 format, meaning that it can be used to capture full HD video from cameras–and it can be used in a Nintendo Switch. The Switch actually supports such microSDs up to 2 TB in capacity, although obviously such cards don’t exist yet.

In the meantime, you can grab one of these Integral Memory cards to download all the games you could want. In fact, according to our best guess using this list, you likely could download the entire current Nintendo Switch library to this card–and still have about 50 GB to spare.

There’s no word yet on the price, but it’s likely that you’ll have to shell out quite a bit of money for it when it’s released in February. The SanDisk 400 GB card, after all, still costs $240 on Amazon. But storage continues to get cheaper every year, so microSD cards of similar capacities will probably be widespread after a few years.
