If Baron Corbin Wins the WrestleMania Battle Royal Again Will He Carry Both Trophies Like Owen Hart?

At WrestleMania 34 this Sunday, two men have an opportunity to be the two-time winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal – Mojo Rawley and Baron Corbin!

Of course, winning for a second time still means they’ll have to outlast and overtake the 29 other men participating in the bout, but “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin, who won the event back in 2016, sees this as a chance to make history.

“Everybody’s a target in a sense and if you turn your back for a second, it’s over,” Corbin said. “That’s what happened to me in the Royal Rumble. I was busy destroying everybody and Finn Balor snuck up behind me. You have to keep your head on a swivel and remain focused on everyone. Mojo’s got a good chance, he’s a hell of an athlete. This one’s mine though.”

PUBG’s Desert Map Coming To Xbox One Next Month

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One has garnered a large playerbase since its release, but content-wise it still only features one map. Developer PUBG Corp. announced today at PAX East that this will change in May, when the studio adds Miramar, the desert map that has already been available for PC players for a few months.

PUBG Corp revealed today that the desert map, called Miramar, will come to the Xbox One version of the game next month. Right now, only the original map Erangel is playable. The studio hasn’t provided a specific release date yet for the map, although it promises that more info will be announced soon.

As you can see in the video embedded at the top of this article, Miramar is a lot different than Erangel. Where the original map is green and lush, with lots of trees and vegetation to provide cover, Miramar is much more sparse. Players are a lot more exposed when running between buildings. In addition, the map includes three additional vehicles: the minibus, the pickup truck, and the jetski.

In other PUBG news, the developer is currently working on a third map for the PC version. This is a much smaller arena, a quarter of the size of the other two. As a result, it encourages much quicker confrontations and more aggressive play styles; in fact, it feels a bit more like Fortnite. An early version was recently playable on the PC test servers for select players.

WWE Wrestlemania 34: John Cena Vs. Undertaker Preview

One of WWE’s biggest Wrestlemania’s biggest matches in 2018 is one that it apparently doesn’t plan to formally announce before the event. The company has been building to a confrontation between John Cena and The Undertaker for some time, yet with Wrestlemania 34 less than a day away, their matchup still isn’t officially on the card.

Undertaker and Cena are both Wrestlemania mainstays, although their roles in the company–particularly Undertaker–have been reduced from years past. Undertaker shared a cryptic message on Raw back in January, during which he rambled and listed off opponents he faced. He hasn’t been seen on TV since.

Cena, meanwhile, has had to take up the mantle of carrying the entire promotion of the match. With nothing else going on, he challenged Undertaker to a Wrestlemania match back in February. Since then, he’s routinely come out to cut one-sided promos which have gone nowhere, due to the lack of any response from his desired opponent.

WWE is a scripted business, and Cena hasn’t been spending time on TV for no reason. WWE’s own website has covered the possibility of such a match. With the company not as reliant on advanced pay-per-views buys as it once was, and Wrestlemania not needing any additional star power to attract viewers, it seems this will manifest itself as a “surprise” match during the event. It could potentially be Undertaker’s final match, so we expect him to win.

Wrestlemania takes place on April 8 at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT on PPV and the WWE Network, live from New Orleans’ Superdome. It’ll be preceded by a Kickoff Show, making for a jam-packed evening of wrestling action.

The Rock Says…The Rock Will Not Be at WrestleMania

As WrestleMania 34 fast approaches, speculation about which WWE legends might return has reached a fever pitch.

The Rock’s name has been tossed around a few times, as someone who could either make a surprise appearance in a segment with Elias or as part of the Ronda Rousey match, which he himself helped facilitate when he and Rousey appeared together back at WrestleMania 31 and clashed with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

According to The Rock however, The Rock won’t be there.

During a press interview with Chris Van Vliet for his new movie Rampage (you can watch the clip in the link), Dwayne Johnson remarked “You will not see me there.”

Gotham’s Jerome Takes Final Step Toward Being Joker…But is It a Trick?

Not that there’s been any real doubt about Cameron Monaghan’s Jerome being the un-official Joker for FOX’s Gotham, but this past week’s episode, “Mandatory Brunch Meeting,” pushed the character even closer toward iconic-Joker status.

Yes, on top of having his own face sewn on to his face, the joker card Easter egg from a few weeks ago, this week’s “One Bad Day” reference, and many more Joker hallmarks, Jerome acquired his first ever batch of Joker Venom/Joker Gas this week. It’s not labeled as Smylex, or anything of that ilk, as of yet, but it has the exact same effects.

The “test subject” Jerome acquired at the end was exposed to the chemicals, burst into a fit of laugher, developed a gruesome grin, and then died. As Gotham’s fourth season barrels toward its endgame, Jerome plans to unleash this toxin on the city.
