As part of Fortnitemares, the new Halloween-themed event that has descended upon Fortnite‘s island, players have a new set of challenges to complete. Unlike the weekly challenges, completing these won’t unlock Battle Stars for you to level your Battle Pass up. Instead you’ll get experience points and specific rewards such as an emoticon, a spray, a contrail, and a glider. However, Epic is rolling out new challenges every two days, and to get that glider you’ll need to complete all of them.

The first set is available now and you can get the details on the Fortnitemares challenges in our roundup guide. There are four challenges in total, and while three of them are fairly straightforward, one specific challenge will take a fair bit of leg work. This challenge asks you to dance in front of five different Gargoyles. The trouble is, these are spread all over the Island, so you may end up wasting time running into dead-ends. Luckily, we’ve managed to find them and can give you their exact locations to save you the time and effort.

Below you’ll find a map with the exact locations of the Gargoyles as well as a list of where they are. You can also watch the video above to see us complete the challenge.

Fortnitemare Day 1 Gargoyle Locations

• Viking Village: Head inside the large building atop the hill.
• North of Flush Factory on top of the mountain
• West of Lazy Links in the mine that’s shaped like an umbrella
• Haunted Hills inside the Gothic Castle, in the main hall
• Between Wailing Woods and Risky Reels on the hill
• Tomato Temple: In the lower courtyard
• Retail Row: In the store with the Battle Bus above it

Fortnitemare also introduced a cool new skin type that reacts to the way you play the game. If you haven’t already checked it out, you can see the Outlander Outfit and find out what sets it apart from other skins. In addition to this skin, Epic has also introduced the Shackled Stone Back Bling and the Dark Shard pickaxe. Both of these items are also called “reactive cosmetics.” The Deadfire skin is available for 2,000 V-Bucks, while the Dark Shard harvesting tool costs 1,200 V-Bucks.

Fortnitemare was introduced as part of the Fortnite update 6.20 update, which also includes a new weapon: the Six Shooter. Epic is also testing the ability to re-deploy gliders after you’ve landed, so you can do that in the Battle Royale’s various game modes now too.

My Hero Academia is one of the best shonen anime currently airing, and it deserves a great video game that lives up to its reputation. While My Hero One’s Justice unfortunately doesn’t hit that high bar, it does a good job of adapting the action and spectacle of the anime into fighting game form. The gorgeous visuals and a flashy one-on-one combat system make it seem like a fan’s dream fighting game, but the shiny exterior hides a fairly simplistic foundation, and once the spectacle of the action wears off, My Hero One’s Justice feels less like All Might, and more like “just alright.”

My Hero One’s Justice is a 3D arena fighter with a combat system that could be best explained as an appropriately quirky version of Rock, Paper, Scissors. You have three main options when it comes to attacking up close: normal attacks, counter attacks, and unblockable attacks. Normals are fast enough to interrupt and beat unblockables, counters absorb normal attacks before delivering their own powerful strike, and unblockables crush through counters. There are some extra nuances of course, like just guards, dashes, and dash cancels, but that’s the general overview of combat.

Netflix’s monthly “Last Call” list, featuring all the movies and TV shows expiring from the site, is actually pretty short for November. Most notably, the Jurassic Park trilogy, Hellboy II, Paddington, The Land Before Time (plus its two sequels), and Cruel Intentions are leaving.

Since there’s not a lot to prattle on about here, we’re going to give a shout out to a great underrated horror flick that’s leaving – Mike Flanagan’s Oculus, starring Karen Gillan and Katee Sackhoff. If you’re a fan of Flanagan’s The Haunting of Hill House, which we clearly are, then you should check out his first “haunted family”-style horror film before it vanishes in a few weeks.

Activision has announced its plans for PAX Aus, and it includes a barbecue built in the likeness of Spyro that actually breathes fire. PAX attendees can find the “Spyro BBQ” at The Common Man restaurant at the South Wharf near the convention center.

Activision will light it up every hour for a “unique fire show,” while the company will also offer three different lamb dishes inspired by the Spyro franchise. These include Sheila’s Pick, Toasty’s Nightmare, and Spyro’s Flame Feast. If you just want to play the newest Spyro, Activision has the Spyro Reignited Trilogy available at its booth on the show floor for all three days.

Activision is also bringing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice to PAX Aus, and this represents the first time the game is being made available for the public to play in Australia. Shadows Die Twice is the next game from Bloodborne studio From Software.

Additionally, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be playable at PAX for PC in the ASUS and Nvidia booths.

Outside of playable games, there will be a Destiny 2 “Vigil for Cayde” panel that has a pretty great description: “What can we do to offer solace in this trying time? And how are we going to get revenge on The Forsaken for depriving us of Nathan Fillion?!”

PAX Aus kicks off on October 26 with a keynote address by Rhianna Pratchett, who worked on the Tomb Raider reboot and its sequel, Rise of the Tomb Raider. She also wrote Mirror’s Edge, Heavenly Sword, and the Overlord series. During her PAX Aus keynote, she’ll be engaging directly with fans, answering questions about any number of topics.

GameSpot’s theatre, the GameSpot Dropbear Theatre, will have programming running Friday through Sunday. We’ll be hosting panels on Fortnite’s coverage in the mainstream media, voice acting featuring actors from Telltale’s The Walking Dead and Fallout 4, and hacking a video game, among other topics. Also new for this year is that PAX Aus and another big-time Australian gaming show, the EB Expo, are joining forces. PAX Aus three-day tickets are sold out, but you can still buy some single-day tickets here on the event’s website.
