Iron Man 3 Director Knocks Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War

During the Q&A section of The Predator panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, Iron Man 3 director Shane Black threw some shade at Infinity War, citing interactions between Thanos and Spider-Man.

“One moment there’s a train coming at him he can turn it into a flock of birds,” said Black. “The next minute Spider-Man is coming at him and he’s like, ‘Oh, my eyes! It’s got webbing!’ I loved the movie, it’s just, the kid had to do something”

Black said he was a fan of Infinity War, but when answering one of the many questions about whether the Predator would win in a fight against a number of characters, the Thanos/Spider-Man disparity came up. IGN was in attendance at the panel.

In addition to Mercy, Ana, Brigitte, Lucio, and Moira are all getting changes. That means Zenyatta is the sole support character who will remain unchanged, with Goodman explaining that Zenyatta’s “doing his job well as a hybrid damage/healer, and being able to provide discord orb for your team will always be welcome.”
