Revealed in a blog post, Epic states that while its “intent is to eventually hold global in-person tournaments again,” its “priority for any such event is the health and safety of our players and staff.”

The Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) will continue throughout 2021, and the Chapter 2 – Season 5 FNCS is currently planned for February 4. The FNCS party size is also now being standardized to Trios for the “foreseeable future,” but Epic may “alter the scoring and/or qualification formats season by season.”
This announcement follows Fortnite’s Galactus event that led into Chapter 2 – Season 5. The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda/The Child are also part of this season’s Battle Pass.
Alongside The Mandalorian, Kratos from God of War has also become a playable skin, and he arrives with the full Oathbreaker Set that includes the Guardian Shield Glider, Leviathan Axe Pickaxe, Mimir Back Bling, and a custom Kratos emote.

Below you’ll be able to see a bunch of glowing first reactions to the Patty Jenkins-helmed follow up to the 2017 DCEU smash hit, calling the ’80s-set story a beautiful, uplifting, heartwarming movie that — honestly — just might be what we all need these days. The first of these reactions come from IGN’s own Jim Vejvoda and Terri Schwartz…
I saw #WonderWoman1984 yesterday. It was a lot of fun and has a very heartwarming and hopeful message that, frankly, we really need this year. pic.twitter.com/eWNS71VfsS

I was lucky enough to be among the first to (finally!) get to screen Wonder Woman 1984. I adored it. The first Wonder Woman is my favorite of the modern DC films, and #WW84 makes all the smart next steps, telling a very human and very beautiful story for Diana Prince. pic.twitter.com/vzr2mZXIKg
— Terri Schwartz (@Terri_Schwartz) December 5, 2020
Amy Ratcliffe shared those same sentiments about the film while Germain Lussier also called the film “ambitious” and “incredibly exciting.”
I got to watch Wonder Woman 1984 yesterday and… honestly it’s just what I needed. What we all need. It’s uplifting, hopeful, and so utterly Wonder Woman. Just a beautiful film with themes that hit you right in the heart. #WW84

Yesterday I saw Wonder Woman 1984 at home & it was everything I needed & more. The movie is hugely ambitious, incredibly exciting, and full of much needed hope. It’s also very long, to a fault at times, but mostly it reminded me how wonderful a big blockbuster can make you feel. pic.twitter.com/6rYbHEzI7E

FANDOM’s Eric Goldman, CinemaBlend’s Eric Eisenberg, Gamespot’s Mike Rougeau, and more also felt like the movie’s message, and inspiring hero, felt like a shining light in these turbulent times.
I’ve seen #WonderWoman1984 and it’s really strong. There are several powerful and, ahem, wonderful moments in it and it ultimately it’s a film that plays so well for the notably turbulent era it’s opening in thanks to its message and inspiring hero. pic.twitter.com/slxij3DS5Y

Huge news: Wonder Woman 1984 is fantastic! The story is excellent & has a great, timely message; it packs in a ton of surprises; and amazing work is done with both Cheetah & Max Lord (Wiig & Pascal are both stellar). Get hyped, because it’s the real deal. #WonderWoman1984 #WW1984 pic.twitter.com/9UQLyxn3gx

I HAVE SEEN @WonderWomanFilm and can now share some thoughts!
It’s absolutely delightful and a wonderful movie for this moment in time. It made me feel things (a rare feat these days). Chris Pine’s return is done well and makes sense. Gal is of course a goddess. #WW84

Don’t worry, there are even more luminous statements below. None of these are official reviews, of course, just some snapshots of enthusiastic early screening reactions.
Wonder Woman 1984 is a joyful, thrilling and engaging sequel, one that manages to connect to what worked the first time around, yet it’s still uniquely its own thing. Emotional, hilarious and exciting, perhaps even better than the first. @WonderWomanFilm pic.twitter.com/dvsu6fpJRX

I was invited by @WarnerBrosUK to see an early screening of the new @WonderWomanFilm yesterday and I’m still smiling.#WonderWoman1984 is the film the world needs right now, no matter what sized screen you get to see it on.
I’ll be sharing some non-spoiler thoughts very soon. pic.twitter.com/FJv2FSObsm

#WonderWoman1984 is absolutely incredible. It shows that superheroes can be flawed, vulnerable, fierce, and loving. Gal and Patty have crafted a beautiful film with intrigue and hope. #WW84 pic.twitter.com/TAnb980L4x

I’m so happy to report that #WW84 is an absolute blast from start to finish. An exceptional compliment to the first film, it’s stuffed w/ heart, hope, love, action, romance & humor. @PattyJenks, @GalGadot & team delivered one of DC’s best sequels. I was in tears when it ended. pic.twitter.com/ivPkBFmehd

I’ve seen #WonderWoman1984!@PattyJenks literally made an 80s movie in every way, making it so unique for today. It feels both bigger than the first WW while simultaneously more contained.
Lots of Diana Prince and some epic Wonder Woman moments as @GalGadot literally soars! pic.twitter.com/QluelKwYly

Had the great fortune to see #WW84 recently. Get excited for your Xmas present people! That’s all I’m gonna say!
