It’s hard to believe, but it has been a little over a decade since BioShock first released for Xbox 360 and PC. To commemorate this milestone for the first game and the series as a whole, game publisher 2K is releasing a special BioShock 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition, which includes a copy of BioShock: The Collection and an incredibly detailed Big Daddy and Little Sister statue.
The statue itself lights up; both the Big Daddy’s and Little Sister’s eyes glow yellow when turned on. In addition, the Big Daddy sports a motorized drill complete with special audio sound effects that play upon activating it.
Priced at $200, the BioShock 10 Anniversary Collector’s Edition releases November 14 for PS4 and Xbox One. Those interested in picking it up can only pre-order it at GameStop and the 2K online store. Be wary; only 5,200 copies of this special edition exist, so if you’re eager to purchase it, make sure to snatch it quick.

Ubisoft has released a cool new live-action trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Origins. Titled “I Am,” the slickly produced trailer follows main character Bay-yek as he leaps and murders through ancient Egypt. He says, “I’m not an army. I’m not a man. I’m a creed.”
The trailer was directed by Catch Me Daddy director Daniel Wolfe and uses the Nicholas Britell song “The Middle of the World” from the Moonlight soundtrack. Check it out below.
Ubisoft said the trailer was made with “authentic film role,” using some 200 extras to populate its world. “Dozens” of animal species can be seen in the trailer.
The next weekly reset for Destiny 2 is approaching. While it marks the end of the current Nightfall, Flashpoint, and so on, it will also wrap up the game’s first-ever Iron Banner event.
Ahead of the reset at 2 AM PT / 5 AM ET / 10 AM BST / 8 PM AEDT on Tuesday, October 17, you still have a chance to take part in Iron Banner matches. The limited-time Crucible mode is 4v4 like all other PvP activities in Destiny 2 and features Quickplay modes and matchmaking. If you don’t already have access, you can check out our guide on how to get into Iron Banner. Things play out differently than in the first Destiny.
Completing Iron Banner matches–win or lose–nets you event-specific Tokens, which can be turned in with Lord Saladin at the Tower. That allows you to get your hands on a variety of new item rewards. You can see all of the Iron Banner weapons, gear, and armor in our gallery, but don’t expect to collect it all. While that is possible, rewards are random, meaning you can open dozens of rewards packages without necessarily getting what you want.
For Black Panther fans, today’s new trailer offers a feast of geeky delights. The new footage revealed in the trailer offers a closer glimpse of the film’s heroes and villains. And perhaps most intriguing, it features a shot of Michael B. Jordan’s Erik Killmonger suiting up in his own version of the Black Panther costume. In keeping with the grand tradition of movies like iron Man and Ant-Man, it looks as though the climax of Black Panther will feature T’Challa going toe-to-toe with a villain who’s stolen the very source of his powers.
Fans of the Black Panther comics will know that there’s some precedent for Killmonger stealing the image and powers of Black Panther. Read on for all the details…
Destiny 2‘s PC version is almost here. Bungie’s shooter lands on PC October 24, and now the developer has released a launch trailer for it and confirmed when it will be available to pre-load. All footage in the trailer above was captured on PC, presumably on a more-than-capable rig.
The game supports 4K resolution, uncapped frame rates, and custom key mapping. PC players can also adjust the field of view and use up to three monitors. There are also quite a few settings to play around with, including anti-aliasing, foliage detail distance, film grain, wind impulse, and motion blur, among many other things.
Destiny 2 for PC launches at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on October 24, exclusively through Blizzard’s Battle.net. That’s notable because it’s the first non-Blizzard game to be offered through the company’s PC service.
Bungie also confirmed on Twitter that that Destiny 2 for PC will be available to pre-load starting on October 18. That’s good news for players looking to jump in precisely when the servers get switched on.

CD Projekt Red is still hard at work on Cyberpunk 2077, according to a recent post on Twitter.
“Cyberpunk 2077 is progressing as planned, but we are taking our time” the developer said in a statement, “in this case, silence is the cost of making a great game.” CD Projekt Red Co-Founder Marcin Iwinski and Studio Head Adam Badowski made the joint statement.
The post also addressed player concerns that recent departures from the studio might cause the upcoming game to be delayed. “So, does a departure, even a high profile one, mean that the project is in danger?” the developer asks. “One would need to be very courageous to base the future of an AAA role-playing game of such scope on one person (or a few people).”

The Golden Girl from Goldfinger will also be available, as well as a host of villains from the franchise — Blofeld with his cat, Oddjob with his killer hat, and Jaws with his, well, jaws. Several store-exclusives will also be made as part of the line, including Octopussy’s Bond at Barnes & Noble, Dr. No’s version of Bond at Toys ‘R Us, and Oddjob in action throwing his hat at Target.
If you thought the final trailer would be your last look at Stranger Things 2 before its release, you were incorrect. A clip from the new season has debuted, after first being revealed at London Comic Con, which focuses on what happened to Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) in the aftermath of Season 1.
When the first year of Stranger Things came to an end, the status of Eleven was left up in the air. After using her psychokinetic powers to defeat the Demogorgon, she simply disappeared. While Hopper (David Harbour) was seen leaving Eggo waffles in an outdoor lockbox, presumably for her, the character was not seen again.
In the new clip though, it’s confirmed that she has been in the Upside Down, looking for a way out. When she finally finds a portal back to her world, Eleven uses those same powers to make the gateway big enough for her to fit through. She then breaks through the slimy barrier between the two worlds, finding herself back in Hawkins Middle School–the location of the battle that ended the first season.
As fans have seen in the trailers though, she won’t be the only entity from the Upside Down invading the world. After being rescued from the dimension in Season 1, Will (Noah Schnapp) is shown as haunted by visions of a shadow monster from the Upside Down, which is making its way into his reality. Those visions only grow stronger as the kids and adults of Hawkins are once again forced to defend the world from supernatural forces.
Luckily, with Eleven back in the picture, they’ve got a secret weapon to help fight anything that comes their way.
Stranger Things 2 premieres on Netflix on October 27.
Supergirl actress Katie McGrath, who plays Lena Luthor, shared with us over the phone some insights into her character that hails from one of DC’s most iconic families. It seems that being a Luthor is no easy task, especially if you’re trying to clear your name.
Spoilers for Supergirl continue below.
Lena is still dealing with the guilt she feels over the events of Season 2’s thrilling conclusion. Being one of the key people responsible for an alien invasion that resulted in your friend (Kara) losing her boyfriend (Mon-El) will undoubtedly keep you up at night.
When asked if she would like to meet her on-screen brother Lex, who we got a glimpse of last season in a flashback as a child, McGrath immediately said, “No! I don’t want any other Luthors around me. Why would I want to share power?”
