Apex Legends Chaos Theory Collection Trailer Shows Off New Mode, Bangalore’s “Cold Steel” Heirloom, And More

EA’s battle royale behemoth Apex Legends is getting another big event very soon with the Chaos Theory Collection Event, which we’ve now gotten a closer look at.

Mad Maggie returns with a terrible plan to sabotage the ring, which is causing ring flares to show up across the map. In the new Ring Fury mode, players get a new heat shield for their inventory that allows them to sustain ring damage to rescue teammates. This shield projects a dome that can protect players from the ring damage.

Additionally, players can visit Caustic’s Town Takeover to find gold-tier loot, while Apex Legends overall is offering up 24 items that will only be available for a limited time. Players who collect all 24 will get Bangalore’s “Cold Steel” heirloom, which looks pretty rad.

Lego Winnie The Pooh Set Announced, Coming Next Month

The Lego Group has announced a new partnership with Disney to release a Winnie the Pooh set as part of its Lego Ideas collection. It’s coming on April 1 and is priced at $100. VIP early access to the set begins on March 18.

The new set features classic characters Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, and Eeyore, all gathered around Pooh’s hollowed-out tree. It’s 1265 pieces in all and recommended for adults with an 18+ age rating. Usually higher age ratings mean complex or multi-phase builds, especially when it comes to collector’s items.

In addition to the minifigs, the set includes some iconic Winnie the Pooh imagery based on the classic books and Disney adaptations. Props like Pooh’s honey pot, beehive, and red balloon are present in the set, and Pooh’s treehouse opens up for interior detail.

Warner Bros. Exec Thinks Theatrical Windows Still Important To Streaming

WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar says the movie industry is still in “experimentation mode” on theatrical windows, according to Variety. Speaking recently at the 2021 Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference, the executive’s comments adds a bit of clarification and also an asterisk to the sudden announcement from Warner Bros. in December that it will put its entire theatrical line-up onto HBO Max.

Warner and Kilar’s stance on exclusive theatrical release windows, it should be noted, is in stark contrast to Netflix and product chief Greg Peter’s view: The latter recently predicted that these exclusive windows will go away because “it’s what consumers want.” And so, it seems that the next battle playing itself out in the streaming wars is a competition in navigating what role release windows will have in getting in front of audiences.

“Is theatrical attendance going to have a crazy resurgence because people have been cooped up for a year?” asked Kilar. “I could easily see that happening. And we will be there to serve them in that situation, and proudly so. When you look at our development pipeline, we absolutely are developing movies for theatrical exhibition.”

Genshin Impact Made $874 Million From Microtransactions In First 5 Months

Genshin Impact’s mobile edition is an absolute juggernaut, as Sensor Tower is reporting that the game brought in around $874 million from its microtransactions since launch at the end of September 2020.

Genshin Impact is a success globally, as it ranks third in terms of revenue on iOS and Google Play, only trailing Tencent’s Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile, both of which have made over $1 billion from microtransactions over the past five months.

Genshin Impact’s $874 million outpaces the amount of money that Pokemon Go and Roblox made on mobile over the past five months, but those games are considerably older.

Fall Guys Season 4 Costumes Teased, Can You Guess What’s Coming?

Fall Guys Season 4 is expected to kick off soon, bringing with it a series of new costumes. Developer Mediatonic has now teased the new outfits, posting silhouettes of them on social media and calling on fans to sound off with what the outfits might be.

None of them are very easily identifiable, as least not to me, but the internet has its guesses. For now, they’ll remain a mystery, but Mediatonic will reveal all four of them on Friday, March 5, through the game’s Discord, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter accounts.

Before this, Mediatonic challenged its fans to complete a 2400-piece jigsaw puzzle to find a new clue about Season 4–and, of course, the community completed it in short order. The teaser revealed a flying saucer-themed outfit and other otherworldly costumes.

Fortnite Kitchen Locations: Where To Visit Different Restaurant Kitchens

One of the last challenges you’ll complete in Fortnite for Week 5, Season 14 tasks you to visit different restaurant kitchens. You have to visit two of them to complete this challenge, but it comes at the end of a sequence before you’re actually able to count any progress you’ve made. Here’s how to do it.

First off, prior to trying this challenge, ensure you’ve done the other three steps. You’ll need to collect cookbooks, harvest eight fruits or vegetables–which can be done quickly at the Orchard northeast of the Coliseum–and then collect 150 gold bars. For collecting the 150 gold bars, just complete a bounty, as the one we completed rewarded us with 200.

Restaurant Kitchen Locations

Once that’s done, you have a few different options for visiting kitchens, including:
