Hulu’s Black Friday Deal Gets You The Streaming Service For Super-Cheap
There are plenty of streaming services available right now from Netflix to the recently launched Disney+, and if you’re looking to add Hulu to your list of monthly subscriptions, now is the time to do so. Hulu is running a Black Friday and Cyber Monday deal where you can have the basic service for under $2 a month.
Beginning on Thursday, November 28 and running until the end of December 2, you can land a basic Hulu subscription for $1.99 a month for the first year. There are a few caveats though. You have to be a new subscriber to the service or someone who cancelled your account over 12 months ago. Additionally, if you signed up for the 99 cent promo during the Cyber Week 2018 promo, you will not be eligible for this deal.

The Hulu streaming service allows you to watch movies, TV shows, and original programming. What sets it apart from other services is that you can watch many network and cable shows the day after they air on television. Additionally, you can watch older episodes and seasons of these same series, on demand. This deal is for the basic Hulu package, so you will have to sit through commercials for the service’s programming, just like you would for live TV.
Normally, the ad-supported version of Hulu costs $6 a month, while the no ad plan costs $12. Additionally, there is a plan bundling the ad-supported version of Hulu, ESPN+, and Disney+ for $13 a month. There are also two plans that include live TV viewing as well for $45 a month (with ads) and $51 (without ads), and there are additional premium channels that can be added as well.
The $2 a month Hulu deal runs from November 28 at 12 AM PT until December 2 at 11:59 PM PT.

Best Black Friday 2019 Deals For VR Headsets–Oculus, Vive, PSVR, And More Headsets On Sale
Virtual reality just got exciting again, with Valve recently announcing Half-Life: Alyx, and if you want to be ready for the next big entry in the Half-Life series, then there are some great deals on VR headsets during Black Friday 2019. The best part is that Half-Life: Alyx is compatible with almost every single VR headset on PC. That includes the Oculus Quest, HTC Vive Pro, Oculus Rift S, and Windows Mixed Reality. And of course, there’s the super high-end Valve Index. The only unfortunate part about it is that it doesn’t currently look like Half-Life: Alyx is coming to PlayStation VR–thankfully, there are still some good deals and fantastic games for PSVR.
In fact, there are some excellent Black Friday discounts for all manners of VR. Whether you’re looking for an Oculus Quest, an HTC Vive Pro, or something in between, you’re sure to find a deal on a great headset. The only device that hasn’t seen a discount is Valve’s Index, though Index owners will get Half-Life: Alyx for free once it releases. We don’t expect any discounts on the high-end headset for Black Friday, but of course, we’ll report back if anything is announced.
In addition to the headsets, there’s also a selection of game deals available this Black Friday. At the moment, we’ve only seen PlayStation VR games discounted, but you can expect Steam and Oculus to jump on the deal train soon–Steam’s Black Friday sale is expect to go live on November 26. We’ll update this article with all of the best Black Friday game deals once they’re announced.
Oculus’s Black Friday deals were announced last week, while Walmart’s Black Friday offerings and GameStop’s Black Friday sale both offer some excellent options for discounted VR.

Best Black Friday VR deals

Oculus Quest 64 GB or 128 GB + Vader Immortal bundle | $400 or $500
Available now
Truly wireless VR is quite the experience, and for Black Friday, Oculus is giving away all three episodes of Vader Immortal, an interactive Star Wars experience, with all Quest purchases. You’ll need to activate your Oculus Quest within 30 days of purchase to claim the entire Star Wars series for yourself. The promotion lasts until January 31, though you have until March 2 to activate your Quest and redeem the offer. The Quest comes in 64 GB and 128 GB storage options.
One of the best features of the Quest is being able to plug it into your PC with a USB 3.0 cable and use it as a PC-powered headset via Oculus Link. This means you’ll be ready for Half-Life: Alyx once it releases in March 2020.

Oculus Rift S | $350 ($400)
Available November 28 to December 2
The Oculus Rift S is the company’s PC-powered VR headset, which means you’ll need a PC with the hardware specs to run it and its software. However, everything you need to be ready for Half-Life: Alyx comes with your purchase, including the Touch controllers. Oculus is discounting the price to $350 for Black Friday.

HTC Vive Pro Starter Kit | $800 ($1,100)
Available from November 28 to December 1
GameStop has a number of VR deals, the first being the entire HTC Vive Pro starter kit for $800 during Black Friday. This is one of the best options for room-scale VR, especially at $300 off the regular price. It features a 2880×1660 resolution with 110 degrees for your field of view. It’s also ready to go for Half-Life: Alyx.

HTC Vive Pro headset | $600 ($800)
Available from November 28 to December 1
If you already have an HTC Vive, you can simply upgrade to the Vive Pro headset. GameStop has it on for $600 during Black Friday, and if you’re looking for an even better experience with Half-Life: Alyx, this is the way to go.

HTC Vive Cosmos | $600 ($700)
Available from November 28 to December 1
The HTC Vive Cosmos is HTC’s attempt at a headset with inside-out tracking–just like the Quest, you don’t need any sensors for it to work. However, you still need to power the Cosmos with a PC, so you won’t have a completely wireless experience. It’s ready for Half-Life: Alyx, and GameStop’s discounting it to $600 for Black Friday.

Samsung HMD Odyssey+ | $230 ($500)
If you’re looking for more affordable VR, then Windows Mixed Reality headsets are worth taking a look at. The Samsung HMD Odyssey+ supports both Windows MR and Steam VR, so you’ll be able to play Half-Life: Alyx once it releases. The Microsoft Store has it discounted to $230 for Black Friday.

PlayStation VR Mega Pack with five games | $200 ($300)
Available now
Unfortunately, Half-Life: Alyx has not been announced for PlayStation VR, but that doesn’t mean Sony’s headset isn’t worth buying. PlayStation VR features a lot of awesome exclusive VR games, including Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Everybody’s Golf VR, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. In fact, those three games are bundled with the PS VR Mega Pack, in addition to Skyrim VR and PlayStation VR Worlds. The bundle contains the headset, PlayStation Camera, and the five aforementioned games for only $200 this Black Friday.

PlayStation VR with Blood & Truth, Everybody’s Golf VR | $249
Available now
This PlayStation VR bundle includes the PlayStation Move motion controllers, which will give you that extra level of immersion in compatible games. It also comes with crime-shooter Blood & Truth and Everybody’s Golf VR for $250 this Black Friday.

Oculus Go 32 GB or 64 GB | $150 ($200) or $200 ($250)
Available November 28 to December 2
The Oculus Go is a completely portable headset that excels in viewing media–watching movies and shows with Netflix VR, YouTube VR, and more. It’s a great gift for VR newcomers uninterested in hardcore gaming. This Black Friday, it’s going for $150 for the 32 GB version or $200 for the 64 GB version.
