The Conjuring 3: Ed and Lorraine vs. the Werewolf

It’s been long-rumored that The Conjuring 3, which is now in post-production, would tell the tale of Bill Ramsey, also known as “The Southend Werewolf.”

Ramsey was one of Ed and Lorraine Warren’s famous paranormal cases from the ’80s, as the couple met with the afflicted man for exorcism purposes after decades of unexplained super-strong rage attacks and “werewolf” transformation reports.

While promoting his new WW II movie, Midway, with The Hollywood Reporter, Conjuring star Patrick Wilson gave an update about the third Conjuring movie, teasing feral and ferocious things to come.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Controversy Explained

As the first mainline Pokemon video game released on a Nintendo home console, Pokemon Sword and Shield mark a new era for the franchise. But as it approached launch, the latest pair of Pokemon games became mired in controversies.

For the better part of the year, the Pokemon community has been engaged in a heated debate over the perceived quality of Sword and Shield. Concerns arose initially with an announcement that Sword and Shield’s Pokedex would be limited, with no way to transfer many old Pokemon to Sword and Shield. Concerns about character model animations and graphics followed, and the controversy heated up when leaked versions of Sword and Shield were datamined just ahead of launch.

Pokemon Go Adds Galarian Weezing And New Sword & Shield Trainer Outfits

Pokemon Sword and Shield have officially launched on Nintendo Switch, and Pokemon Go is celebrating the occasion with some new Sword and Shield-inspired content. Not only can you now get trainer outfits based on the main characters in the Switch Pokemon games, you’ll also have your first chance to catch a Galarian Pokemon.

Following November’s Community Day, Galarian Weezing will appear in four-star Raid Battles. Unlike a typical Weezing, this Galarian variant is a dual Poison/Fairy-type, and it has smokestacks on its heads that resemble top hats. Galarian Weezing will appear in Raids from 2-3 PM local time, immediately following today’s Community Day. After that hour, the Pokemon will periodically appear in Raids, so you’ll still have a chance to catch it.

As previously mentioned, Niantic has also added new avatar outfits for your trainer to Pokemon Go’s Style Shop. These are based on the default outfits worn by the male and female protagonists in Sword and Shield. You can read more details about the outfits and Galarian Weezing Raids on the official Pokemon Go website.

November’s Community Day runs from 11 AM – 2 PM local time today, November 16. This month’s featured Pokemon is Chimchar, the Fire-type starter from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Throughout the event, the fire chimp will appear in the wild much more often than normal, and if you can evolve it all the way into Infernape up to two hours after the Community Day ends, it’ll learn the powerful Fire-type attack Blast Burn.

Niantic has plenty of other Pokemon Go events lined up this month. Starting November 19, the developer is kicking off a Supereffective Week, during which you’ll have your first chance to catch a Shiny Tentacool. Then, on November 26, the Legendary Pokemon Terrakion will make its debut in five-star Raids. Finally, Niantic is holding Pokemon Go’s first-ever Friend Fest starting November 27. Kevin Feige Explains How Ghostbusters Influenced the End of The Avengers

2012’s The Avengers famously ended with our heroes, exhausted from battling the Chitauri and Loki, quietly dining at the nearby Shawarma Palace, but there was another aspect of the film’s ending that was actually influenced by the iconic 1984 comedy Ghostbusters.

While guesting on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter Podcast, newly promoted Marvel Creative Chief Kevin Feige told the story of how The Avengers featured a few extra wrap up scenes thanks to a suggestion from Bob Iger, who’s now CEO of the Walt Disney Company.
