Blizzard has announced Diablo Immortal will include Ultimate Abilities. Immortal is a mobile spin-off of the mainline Diablo series–which is getting a fourth entry–and part of Blizzard’s initiative to produce mobile games for all its series.

“All classes gain charge for their chosen Ultimate by using basic attacks,” Blizzard wrote in a blog post. “Once this charge has been built up, players can choose to augment their basic attack for a short time in a face-meltingly powerful display of strength, guile, or raw magical potential.”

The post also reveals how Immortal’s legendary skill-altering items will work. You can, for example, give your Scorch fireball an icy makeover, change how Exploding Palm both targets enemies and does damage, and cause grenades to be thrown out while using Strafe instead of traditional arrows.

Taking place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III, Immortal is a multiplayer-focused variation of the franchise’s MMO ARPG formula. Blizzard has said you can still play through Immortal solo, but the game’s dungeons are designed to be tackled as a group. In-game, you can connect with other players to create a four-person party, and create your character from one of six different classes: Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard.

In the blog post, Blizzard writes that Immortal has no planned release date “at this time” and wouldn’t provide a straight yes or no answer in regards to whether or not Immortal would include microtransactions. Diablo Immortal will release for both Android and iOS devices.

Ant-Man 3 is on the way with franchise director Payton Reed reportedly signing on to direct. Paul Rudd is expected to return as the lead superhero.

The Hollywood Reporter claims the movie will shoot late 2020 or early 2021 for a 2022 release. No plot details are known at this time.

Marvel has already locked down release dates for February 18, 2022 and July 29, 2022 with a sequel to Black Panther confirmed for May 6, 2022.

Need help deciding what to watch on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Shudder or Disney+? Here are a few things you need to check out that are new on the streaming platforms in November 2019!

Blizzard made some big announcements during BlizzCon 2019, one of which was the official reveal of Overwatch 2. While so many details have been laid out, like what Overwatch 2 means for current players and how progress carries over, what we’re focusing on here is the four new maps coming to the PvP competitive mode.

One of them is Toronto. It’s the first map set in Canada, and it also coincides with the next hero Sojourn who is of Canadian origin. The path through Toronto winds around the sprawling metropolitan area, specifically designed with the new Push game mode in mind. The map is distinctly Canadian; there’s an outdoor ice rink, a statue of a hockey player, and maple trees.

Rio de Janeiro is another new map, and its design reflects the urban streets of the Brazilian city. A modified version is also part of the PvE story missions.

Monte Carlo looks to be a lavish map modeled after the iconic real world location in Monaco.

Gothenburg is based on the Swedish town, and a number of characters like Brigitte and Torbjorn come from here.
