Bless the Harts: Meet Fox’s Newest Dysfunctional Animated Family – IGN First
All September long, IGN is highlighting the best TV coming your way in the 2019-2020 season. Today, we’re featuring Bless the Harts, a new half-hour animated comedy that follows the Harts, a Southern family that is always broke, and forever struggling to make ends meet. They one day hope to achieve the American dream, but they already have everything they need in each other. Created by Saturday Night Live and Last Man on Earth alum Emily Spivey, and executive produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, Bless the Harts features a cast of comedy all-stars including Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Jillian Bell, Ike Barinholtz, and Kumail Nanjiani. Fortnite’s Controversial Mechs May Be On Their Way Out
Each season of Fortnite: Battle Royale brings a variety of new weapons and vehicles to the game, but Season 10’s big addition, the BRUTE mechs, have been the subject of much controversy since their debut. The mechs have long been criticized by players as being too powerful, forcing Epic to nerf them, and now it appears the maligned vehicles may be on their way to the vault.
Recently, players have noticed something curious happening when the BRUTE mechs appear on the map: they explode instantly. The in-game explanation for this seems to be tied to the Visitor; you can see the mechs displayed on the computer screens in his lab at Dusty Depot, suggesting he’s responsible for their malfunction. However, given how unfavorably fans have viewed the BRUTE mechs since they first debuted, this seems to be Epic’s way of unceremoniously scrapping them.

The timing of these incidents makes sense, as Season 11 is just around the corner, and Epic typically ushers in each new season of Fortnite with some kind of world-changing event. It remains to be seen just what else will happen in the lead up to Season 11, but it’s possible it will involve an entirely new map, as dataminers seem to have discovered a list of new locations within the game’s code.

Season 10 of Fortnite is scheduled to end on October 6, according to Epic’s website. The developer hasn’t yet announced when Season 11 will officially kick off, but new seasons typically begin shortly after the previous one ends. In the meantime, you can still complete any remaining Season 10 challenges. A double XP weekend is also now underway until September 30.
We do already know one thing Season 11 will bring to the game: bots. As part of Epic’s recent matchmaking adjustments, the developer will introduce AI-controlled opponents to help players improve their skills.

For the first time, we had the opportunity to see all the new systems working together in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep. Bungie let us hop into their new Nightfall Strike “The Ordeal” at 920 and 950 featuring new modifiers which include
- Hashladun’s Serenade: Arc Damage increased. Knockback damage and distance increased.
- Champions: Barrier: This mode contains Barrier Champions, which cannot be stopped without a Barrier mod.
- Champions: Unstoppable: This mode contains Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Unstoppable mod.
- Martyr: Exploder Units have more health.

Uncharted Movie Gets A New Director
The Uncharted from Sony Pictures has a new director. Deadline reports that Travis Knight, the director of Bumblebee and Kubo and the Two Strings, will now helm the film, following the recent departure of Dan Trachtenberg.
Trachtenberg departed the movie last month, citing creative differences. He followed a long line of director changes, including Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum), Seth Gordon (King of Kong), Neil Burger (Limitless), and David O. Russell (Silver Linings Playbook). A number of screenwriter and script changes have occurred as well.
The movie will star Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home) as a younger Nathan Drake. This is the second piece of major news surrounding Holland to break in quick succession, as earlier today Sony and Disney announced that the third Spider-Man movie will be co-produced after all.
The long and sometimes tumultuous development hasn’t prevented Sony Pictures from putting a date on the project. Uncharted is slated for December 18, 2020.

Spider-Man Is Officially Back in the MCU
Sony and Disney have announced they will team up for a third film in the Spider-Man Homecoming series.
Marvel Studios and President Kevin Feige will produce the film starring Tom Holland, which has a release date of July 16, 2021. Spider-Man will also have an appearance in a future MCU film, as arranged with the partnership. Amy Pascal – producer on the previous two Spider-Man films in the series – will be producing the third one as well through Pascal Pictures.
“I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it,” Feige said in a statement. “Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”
