After debuting a first look at the Spyro Reignited Trilogy earlier this year to showcase just how much work has gone into Toys for Bob’s remakes, the developer is offering a new look at the evolution of the lovable purple dragon.

IGN can exclusively debut two new side-by-side comparisons of the original Spyro the Dragon and Toys for Bob’s reimagined version below. Both quick videos highlight the environmental detail, enemy style, and Spyro’s updated-yet-classic look. Both are from the first Spyro game to be included in the remastered trilogy, the self-titled Spyro the Dragon, which Activision first showcased in the trilogy’s debut trailer.

If you’re considering playing your way through the series ahead of Fallout 76, or just want to revisit some classic, extremely awesome Fallout games, this is a great chance to do so. You can get all three of the original games for $7.49, combined, and you get the first 2 Elder Scrolls games tossed in for good measure. For Fallout 3, the GOG version is arguably the best way to play through it on PC, but I’ll let you make that call. I strongly recommend it.

We recently saw the official announcement of Battlefield V, and among the details we discovered was an intriguing announcement regarding its single player. In lieu of a typical story campaign focused on one character, as has been the case with most earlier entries, the game will continue with Battlefield 1’s War Stories approach. The Stories switched perspective between multiple characters that offered different looks at the Great War from soldiers of different nationalities, from a pair of brothers who enlisted days after their birthday to a former chauffeur turned tank driver.

With a fresh and genuine take on the familiar supernatural mythology, Vampyr’s bold RPG ambition is to tempt you into eating your own quest givers. Beguiling the citizens of London and suffering the consequences of quenching your terrible thirst sets up some big choices that generally pay off, though its combat doesn’t quite have the bite needed to force you out of your comfort zone and into the darker, morally gray areas it so clearly wants you to live in.

Where Vampyr sets itself apart is in its excellent recreation of London during the first World War and in the throes of the Spanish Flu epidemic. It’s a gloomy, somber city, explorable through snaking alleyways, cobblestone courtyards, dingy sewers, and expansive buildings that combine with the moody string-heavy soundtrack to create a dense, sad atmosphere of a city on the edge.

After its second disappointing weekend in a row, Solo: A Star Wars story is set to lose over $50 million during its theatrical run.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Solo could lose $50 million or more after factoring in a budget of over $250 million and a similarly expensive marketing push. As of its second Sunday in theaters, Solo’s domestic total has reached $148.9 million and its global run is stagnating at $264.2 million. Its first week in theaters proved to be financially disappointing, but its second week saw a further 65% drop in sales on top of this initial stagnation.

Gfinity Australia’s Elite Series launched this week! The city-based esports league kicked off with its first week of competition, and we’ve got the highlights from it! There was some PUBG action over the weekend as well, as 320 Aussie and Kiwi teams did their best to qualify for the PUBG Global Invitational OCE LAN Finals.

Events in Westworld are reaching fever pitch, Join Lucy and Tamoor as they’re back to break down the latest episode. Beware, spoilers!

The Nintendo Switch eShop has received a bit of a facelift today which comes in the form of some handy new features and a few quality of life improvements. These changes aim to make game discovery a much simpler process on the digital store.

The eShop now has a ‘featured’ section that displays 30 of the most popular new and upcoming releases. The ‘Deals’ section has been changed to ‘Great deals,’ and the Best Sellers section now has an option to switch between ‘All Games’ and ‘Download-Only Games.’

The changes have arrived only a mere day after the release of the latest Switch firmware update, Ver. 5.1.0, which Nintendo just began rolling out yesterday. This update comes as no real surprise, as Nintendo had initially revealed back in March that it’s looking to make discovering new games on the eShop a much easier process for customers.

Amazon has released a trailer for its upcoming horror film Suspiria, a new spin on Dario Argento’s 1977 horror classic. The trailer is entirely absent of dialogue and instead offers snipits of intense facial expressions, suggestive cigarette puffs and unsettling body movements set over dramatic music. This style is a departure from the excessively gory footage revealed by Amazon at CinemaCon last month. The trailer merely hints at the extreme violence featured in the movie by showcasing quick shots of women in pain and what appears to be a human rib at the end.

The film will be set at an elite dance studio in Europe with a proclivity for murder. The trailer suggests a volatile relationship between Dakota Johnson as the American dancer and Tilda Swinton as the severe instructor who are both featured heavily. Other notable members of the cast and crew include actors Chloe Grace Moretz and Mia Goth as well as Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, who will be creating an original score for the film.

Directed by Luca Guadagnino, it appears that this version will take a grim perspective in comparison with Argento’s original film, which featured a more flamboyant style. Instead, this version appears to prefer a darker mood. You might think this would suggest a toned-down version of the film, but if the facial expressions weren’t enough, the tensely dramatic score over the trailer should make it clear that this film will be anything but mellow. It seems that Guadagnino wants to create a dark tone to match what is sure to be an intensely gruesome film to be released November 2nd.
