There at least three different scripts in development for Star Trek 4, according to Zachary Quinto.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight Quinto, who plays Spock in the recent run of Star Trek films, said he believes there are several different Star Trek 4 screenplays in the works, with one reportedly already written before Quentin Tarantino pitched his R-rated Trek movie.
“First of all, I think there’s a couple of scripts,” Quinto said. “Because there was a script being written before Quentin Tarantino came up with his idea for a potential film. And so I think they are kind of developing more than one. So I don’t know what is going to happen.”
Star Wars: The Last Jedi star John Boyega has met with Marvel Studios to potentially play a superhero.
Bounding Into Comics covered Boyega’s weekend appearance at Awesome Con, where he discussed potentially joining the MCU. Boyega did not provide any further details about which character he’d play, noting it’s something that probably won’t come to fruition in the near future.

If you’re planning on watching Wrestlemania 34 on Sunday, April 8, you might want to make sure you have comfortable seat, food on hand, and a bedpan ready because this is going to be one long show. Last year’s show–including the preshow–was rumored to run for six and a half hours and actually ran for over seven. This year’s Wrestlemania 34 is on track to run just as long, if not longer.
According to the upcoming schedule on the WWE Network, Wrestlemania’s Kickoff Show will start at 5 PM ET and run for two hours. Then, at 7 PM ET, Wrestlemania will begin and is slotted to run until 12 AM ET. In total, that’s 7 hours, but since WWE Network obviously controls its own programming and a replay of the event is scheduled to follow, Mania going over the seven hour mark shouldn’t be a problem if the time is needed.
The “Big Four” of WWE PPVs–Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam, and Survivor Series–all tend to be longer shows, with each of them lasting at least six hours, including the preshows. Mania always pushes the envelope in terms of the amount of time it wants to keep you glued to the television.
While Wrestlemania 33 was the longest WWE event to date, 2018’s PPV will surely top that. As of this writing, there are 13 confirmed matches on the card, with at least one more expected to be added this week: John Cena vs. Undertaker. Even though this is going to be a long event, it should move pretty quickly to fit in all these matches.
This year’s event will be held in New Orleans at the Superdome, and in addition to Mania itself, WWE will air an NXT Takeover on Saturday and the Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday. It will be a jam-packed weekend, but we have you covered. It’s the beginning of a new month, which means Xbox Live Gold subscribers now have another free batch of games to download. Two new freebies are now available for Xbox One and Xbox 360, with another pair of titles set to follow halfway through April.
On Microsoft’s current-gen console, Gold members can now download The Witness, the acclaimed puzzle game from developer Thekla and Braid designer Jonathan Blow. On the 360 side, subscribers can grab Cars 2, the video game adaptation of the Disney/Pixar film, at no charge. The latter is also playable on Xbox One thanks to backwards compatibility.
Both The Witness and Cars 2 were actually available to download a little early this past weekend. The former will be available for free throughout the entire month, while the latter will return to its regular price on April 15. Gold members also still have a little more time to download one holdover from March’s Games with Gold: the stylish first-person shooter Superhot. That will remain free until April 16.
Two more free Xbox One and 360 games are slated to arrive on April 16. On the newer console, Gold members will be able to download Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the 2015 installment that’s set in 19th century London. Meanwhile, EA’s horror game Dead Space 2 will be available on the 360 side. Like Cars 2, it is also backwards compatible on Xbox One. Epic Games has wrapped up its invite-only test for Fortnite Mobile. Everyone with a supported iOS device can now dive into the wildly popular game, which is playable in its entirety on phones and tablets.
Fortnite has been a free download on the iOS App Store since the debut of the test in March, though only those who were granted access (by Epic or through the subsequent round of friend invites) could actually log in. If you haven’t already, you can head to Epic’s website to create an account. To play, you’ll need one of the following devices:

Fortnite Mobile doesn’t support devices like the iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus; the iPad Air, Mini 2, Mini 3; or the iPod Touch. While that’s unfortunate for owners of those, if you do have the proper hardware, Fortnite Mobile presents a surprisingly complete version of the game–weekly challenges and all. That’s necessary, given the presence of optional cross-play with other platforms, but the game even holds up decently in comparison with the Xbox One X version.
We still don’t have any specific word on the Android version of Fortnite Mobile. Epic has said that it’s coming, but we don’t know just how soon to expect it. Presumably, with testing on iOS complete, it can now turn its attention to Android–although ongoing issues still have stats disabled on all platforms.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds‘ new map, Codename: Savage, officially enters player testing on PC tonight. The game’s closed experimental server goes live at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET ET (3 AM BST on Tuesday), and players can now sign up to give it a try. The test runs from now until April 5 at 4 AM PT / 7 AM ET / 12 PM BST.
You can sign up to access Codename: Savage’s test server here. PUBG Corp. says this is a smaller test, and you’ll need a copy of the base game already to play. The developer also says it plans to run bigger tests in the future, once it’s “gotten the map into a better state.”
PUBG’s creator Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene has shared some details about the new map. At the Game Developers Conference, he said the island map will be smaller and “should give you all a much more intense and faster paced Battle Royale experience.” The map is 4 km x 4 km, quarter the size of the game’s two other 8 km x 8 km maps. GameSpot will have keys to give away in the future, too, so keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook accounts for more details.
PUBG Corp. also recently rolled out an update that introduced a weapon skin system to the game. As a way to celebrate the first anniversary of PUBG’s Early Access release, the developer is also offering a free weapon skin to all players on PC for a limited time.
