Disney Sued by Redbox for Alleged Copyright Misuse

Disney’s home entertainment group has been sued by Redbox.

As reported by Deadline, Redbox filed a suit against Disney for misuse of its copyright to prevent the movie rental service from renting/selling its DVDs and selling movies digitally. Redbox alleges Disney is falsely claiming Redbox can’t resell digital copies of movies, and is getting the way of the service’s relationship with its customers and suppliers.

Additionally, Redbox claims Disney is trying to hike up prices for consumers in favor of its own offerings, which include a forthcoming Disney-branded streaming service.

The Best Laptop Deals of 2018

If you buy something through this post, IGN may get a share of the sale. For more, read our Terms of Use.

It’s pretty amazing how quickly laptops have progressed from expensive, but ultimately underpowered, to the modern versions. Higher-end laptops have desktop-grade GPUs in them, so the tradeoff between power and portability is smaller and smaller. Prices, too, are at a point now where buying a laptop as a matter of convenience can land you a good machine at a great price.

With the insane cryptocurrency mining bubble right now, GPU prices are through the roof, so if you’re after a gaming rig at a not-insane price, a laptop is a great place to start. Whether you just want something for work, school, or to replace a desktop, it’s a great time to pick up a laptop. We’ll be updating this list throughout the year with the best deals, so make sure to keep checking back.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Guide: How To Summon The Legendary Shenron

Dragon Ball FighterZ possesses a number of mechanics that aren’t as easy to figure out as hurling Ki blasts with characters. Much like the show it’s based on, your characters will be able to collect several dragon balls, with the user being granted a single wish from the legendary dragon Shenron. However, the game doesn’t quite spell out how exactly to do this, which may confuse some players who suddenly find a dragon ball during a fight.

In the video above, we lay out what you’ll have to do to find all the dragon balls and summon the dragon to grant your wish. Essentially a special comeback move, you’ll have to string together a set of combos to score a specific number of hits for each orb. However, what makes this particular meta-challenge so tricky is that your player will compete against the opposing player for the dragon balls, who can steal the chance to summon Shenron. Once summoned, you’ll be granted a selection of four wishes–which include health regeneration, reviving a downed teammate, restoring full Ki energy, and granting maximum health. While these may seem fairly tame, these wishes can make all the difference in a fight.

For more of our thoughts on the game, which is set for its January 26 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, be sure to check out our Dragon Ball FighterZ review. And if you’re curious about what sort of Easter eggs and gags found their way into the game–including how Yamcha finally redeems himself–check out our full write-ups and videos about all the things that await you in DBFZ.

Fortnite Party Service Down, Epic Working on Fix

Fortnite Battle Royale is continuing to experience issues, with players unable to play a game with friends.

Epic Games has been sharing updates regarding these problems on Twitter. Currently party service is down, meaning you can only join a solo game or play with random players in a squad or duo. The issues, according to Epic, seem to stem from a big rise in player count.

Earlier this morning the studio planned to take Fortnite offline once again following 14 hours of downtime yesterday. “The Fortnite party service is down, and Solo and Fill are the only modes available. Players should expect downtime to fix the problem later today,” the studio said.
