Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ignis will be released on December 13.
The release date was revealed in a new trailer that was shown during Sony’s PlayStation Media Showcase pre-show at Paris Games Week 2017. For a glimpse at the Ignis-focused add-on chapter, check out the trailer below:
Episode Ignis will feature a new storyline that chronicles Ignis’ fight on the streets of Altissia when Noctis was unconscious after the Trial of Leviathan.
Players will have Ignis’ spelldaggers, which can be imbued with elemental properties, at their disposal, as well as his “Total Clarity” ability, which allows him to target multiple enemies at once.
The DLC chapter will feature Ravus as a new comrade, who joins forces with Ignis. Additionally, Episode Ignis will feature multiple endings and new music from Chrono Trigger composer Yasunori Mitsuda.
